💗 Christmas 💗

Christmas is celebrated all over the world. It is a festive occasion for Christians. Christmas falls on the 25th of December every year. It was on that day that Jesus was born. People are in their best clothes and attend special services on Christmas day. On the evening of the 24th, at Midnight, a mass service is held. The celebration of Christmas begins with carol singing. Boys and girls go to sing carol songs. It has become a common sight during Christmas.

Special measures are taken by the shopkeepers to provide necessary commodities. Special fairs are also held during Christmas. In Sri Lanka, not only the Christians but also the Buddhists join hands and celebrate Christmas. This leads all races of people to live in peace and harmony.
